Description

Clear historical Authentic early  American Glass footed Vintage Admiral Dewey Cut Glass Footed Pitcher
Measures 9" Tall  x 7 3/4 wide (front of spout to back of handle)
Pitcher depicts  "The Battle of Manila" of May 1, 1898
Pitcher also has the famous words of Admiral Dewey, "Gridley, you may fire when ready" is embossed under spout of pitcher.
Spout on original pitcher extends away from the body in a smooth, seamless curve
Also there is a difference in the original view of soldier's body and flag. The soldier's body and flag are well away from the wreath, meaning it is an original model not a later version.
Pitcher is in excellent condition.  On the footed part of vase is  a slight mark or bubble that is not a chip or crack but inside the glass when manufactured
