    Description:
If something important to you is not addressed in my description, ask before bidding. It is up to you to pre qualify an item's suitability for your needs.. Please ask any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability..
For your consideration are these 5 (Five) antique Art ~ Glass "Verre de Soie" style Glass Shades
These came from an estate ..and were part of an antique "Drop-Pan" 5 Arm Chandelier set-up.But the Brass Chandelier is in,at this time, unusable shape.. with major re-wiring required..I do have it available ..and I have included some photos of it with these shades installed in it..only 3 of the 5 sockets are working at this time..These beautiful shades would work for many applications either mounted in a hanging chandelier,or used in wall sconces.
These shades are "drop-dead" gorgeous, and are made of thin art-glass .. with tulip-petal ribbed design ,that have a really beautiful "Art Nouveau" style of acid etching on them, and are "iridized".. with brilliant coloring on their inner, and outer surfaces.
These have 6 elongated "blown - out" petal panels ..with each having a repeated "acid-etched" design ,with 3 leafs at the fitter end, extending down to a sort of "peacock-feather eye" design, then into an intricate cross-hatched style etching..ending in the scalloped sawtooth edge These are not marked anywhere we could see ,but closely resemble the Verre de Soie Art Glass shades we have seen that were made by Stueben.
    Aprox.DIMENSIONS:
    6.25" long
    4.5" Diameter (across outer edges)
    2.25 (fitter rim)
No Reserve .. I have a photo gallery here for you to view lots more close-up images, please check them to get an accurate idea before bidding..As - Is .. No Returns on this

    CONDITION:
Excellent condition ..Beautiful , original condition..These have been well-preserved ,and the iridescent finish really "pops",when you hold them up to the light..No cracks,or major chips. There are a few very small ,shallow rim flakes ..and the fitter rims do have minor chips, along the ground edges..The 5 Arm Chandelier that is in the photos is brass and the arms have an embossed style ..and it does have all the parts for hanging it ,but the wiring is very old and brittle,so,only 3 ,of the 5 sockets are functioning at this time..it would need to be re-wired,but I will include it,if the buyer requests it. These are being offered with no reserve and sold as-is. .Please view the gallery photos ,they are part of the description.and message me with any questions ...
    No International Shipping
    Payment Policy:
Wait for the corrected invoice ,before you pay.. Shipping cost is based on destination and delivery service ..Shipping to Western Destinations are always more! The cost quote above is not accurate..I may be able to ship these for less than the quoted cost, and I will correct the shipping cost before I invoice you. Payment is expected within 5 business days.. I ship when your payment clear eBay's new system and the funds have been "Made Available For Pay-Out".. This translates to 3-4 business days after you have initiated payment.. This is eBays' new system, and I have no control over the way they have decided to run their business model.. But I have been a seller here for 21 years, and I have always had the same policy,of not shipping until full payment is processed..The bottom line is, I no longer do "next day" shipping. Thanks for your interest in and possible bid on our auction!
