    Description

    Lovely antique blown glass opalescent swirl glass globe or shade with 4 inch and 6 inch openings.
    This shade was originally used on a gas fixture before electricity was common in houses.
    It is pretty large about 10 by 10 inches. Condition is excellent, a few black specks in tiny air pockets that would indicate an impurity when blown and a tiny line that also looks to be from when it was blown. Slight rough places
    on lip but pretty much have to feel for them. So this glass has survived amazingly well.
    I don't think there is any tint but white or ivory, but looks a bit tinted around certain colors due to the lustrous nature
    of the glass.
