    Description

    Lovely antique blown glass opalescent swirl glass globe or shade with 4 inch and 6 inch openings.
    This shade was originally used on a gas fixture before electricity was common in houses. it would be great in a ceiling fixture, oil  lamp, etc. It is pretty large about 10 by 10 inches and matches another one I have listed but is a different shape and has a brass ring on the large lip. I'm sure this ring would pull off easily if preferred.  Condition is excellent, no damage.
    I don't think there is any tint but white or ivory, but looks a bit tinted around certain colors due to the lustrous nature
    of the glass.
