No holes , no splits,or rips from the years. I can find marking and numbers on the BIG BACKPACK  HAVERSACK :  : M.S.& U. LTD. 1942 /I\  (arrow in the middle  of circle)     . Khaki color ,strong canvas.  Little dirty from the year. I have also 2 L straps in a very good  condition without stamping green   color  .This   BAG  is approximately 79 years old,with a date of 1943  ,and is still in a VERY GOOD condition and it is 100%GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC.You can see that on the photo if you take a good look .What you see is what you get.*if you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me .
