    Description

    WW 2  white metal cigarette case 3" by 5 1/2", with push slide cover opener in working order. The hinged cover has a female design and the reverse side has the etching of an elephant. On the inside on the back cover is etched the name of the owner A.N. HILL, with the name NIGERIA 1943 below and GOLD COAST 1944 above. These appear to be areas of war service for soldier HILL. I also believe that this was an item he purchased in INDIA as one other of his items comes from there. A good piece of memorabilia for war service in out of the way places.
