    Description

    Coldstream Guards, officers' Field Cap badge. The Garter Star in silver with blue-enamel backing to the Garter and red-enamel backing to the St. George's Cross. This pattern was authorized for wear in 1896. See K&K description figure 897. Two piece construction. Badge is 2" high by 1 1/2" wide. Reverse side has two silver lugs and a brass split pin to secure it to the Field Cap. Beautiful piece.
