Has been open but the wax paper and tubes are sealed.  Used in WW1 and WW2, the end is marked NAAFI Stores  for H.M. (Her Majesty) Forces. Cover features "Jack Tar" image withing a life preserver. Perfect item to add to your collection as nearly every British soldier and seaman had them.
