MINT ORIG 1944 BRITISH ARMY COMMANDO V-NECK WOOL SWEATER SZ SM PETER SCOTT & CO

This is an original, 1944-dated British Army WWII sweater, in a men's size small. The sweater was never issued or used and is in mint condition. *********** The sweater is made of a brown/gray wool. It has a V-neck and knit cuffs. The waistband is factory hemmed, and has a British War Department Broad Arrow Proof, stamped in ink.  This type of sweater was worn by British Army troops in WWII, including commando units. The manufactuer's label is sewn to the inside of the bottom of the sweater, this reads: 'PETER SCOTT & CO., Size 1, 1944."
The sweater is a men's small. It measures 22 inches at the back, from the top of the neck opening to the bottom of the hem. Sleeves measure 22 inches from the armpit to the end of the knit cuff, and 29 inches from the seam of the neck opening to the bottom of the knit cuff. It is 22 1/2 inches across the shoulders at the back. ****************** The sweater is in mint condition, never issued or used. It is clean with no writing or stains. The sweater has no  rips or tears, no moth damage, there is a small 1/8 by 1/4 inch hole in in the knit neck opening at the back, and one small snag in the middle front of the left sleeve (looks like this could easily be pushed back through). Overall it is in fine shape. The knit V-neck and cuffs are intact, the hemmed waistband is in nice condition.
