    Description

    Here's a very nice undug example of this PreProhibtion San Francisco whiskey fifth,
    DAVY CROCKETT PURE OLD BOURBON   HEY,
    GRAUERHOLZ & CO.  S.F. SOLE AGENTS
    Davy Crockett was such a legend, that many towns even had local saloons in the late 1800s and early 1900s called The Davy Crockett.  I know for a fact there was one in Vallejo and in San Francisco.  I've seen early directory listings for them in other Western towns as well.  No doubt, these saloons were pouring a lot of the bourbon that came in bottles like this one listed here !
    This example is mint in every way except a shallow open bubble on the shoulder (shown in the third picture).   Embossing is super strong, has some nice swirls on the reverse side, very clean glass.  Never been buried, found under a bldg yrs ago in the Motherload Gold Country area.
