    Description

    Original, WWII British Jungle Green tropical map case. This map case is based on the P44 map case I believe, but was intended specifically for jungle/tropical use. It is marked and dated 1945. Someone has written the number "70" on the flap. It has a French name on the inside flap and the same name plus address written on the inside as well. Otherwise it is in very good condition. All the Newey snaps work great. The celluloid is also in great condition. These map cases had a cord or rope that went through two holes on the top, which acted as the strap. That is long gone and not included.
