    This Disneyland
    retired
    penny features the Disneyland Logos -  Sleeping Beauty's Castle, Grizzly Peak and the Monorail
    . This coin was first on-stage February 1, 2001 and retired or taken off stage July 2005.
    It is pressed on a post 1983 penny which is copper plated zinc. When pressed, zinc cents can show "streaks" or silver smearing (see Pic) that shows through the copper plating.
    Pre 1982 pennies are solid copper pennies resulting in a better quality and longer lasting shine with no zinc streaking. Long gone and hard to find now!!
