    Description

    This is a Vintage St. Paul Winter Carnival Centennial Ice Palace 100 year pin back button from 1986 with the Famous Ice Palace on it.  Button is approx. 3 1/2" in diameter.  The castle was constructed at Lake Phalen Park.  At that time it was the tallest Ice Castle ever built: 128 feet, 9 inches high, and 90 feet long by 90 feet wide. Lake Phalen supplied over 10,000 ice blocks, each 42 by 24 by 23 inches to construct this giant.  Also included is a "I Love Ice Castles" pin back button.  This button has some very fine scratches on it.  Buttons are in good condition.   Please zoom in on button for a more accurate description.
