Description

This sale is for the pictured beautiful large glass and stone piece.  The overall height is about 18-3/4", it's about 8" wide at the base.  The stone base is about 2" thick, the glass about 16-3/4" tall.
This was obtained at a local auction some years ago, I don't know how old it is.
My wife has always had this displayed on a windowsill in our kitchen.  It's a quite stunning and dimensional piece.  The colors and shadows change as the sun moves overhead.  The photographs really don't do the piece any justice.  The only reason we're parting with this is because we're downsizing significantly.
The stone base has a small bottom chip on the back side.  The front of the black stone has, what looks like, water spots.  I suspect these are from some kitchen splashing over the years that has lightly etched into the stone.
To me, both these flaws are only really notable upon inspection.
There are some minor scuffs and marks to the glass surface.  The most notable is the silver starfish on the surface shows some silver leaf loss (see photo).  Because there is so much going on in the piece, I've personally only really noticed the silver loss upon inspecting it for this sale.  Silver leaf is available at some craft stores if you're motivated enough to replace it.

Other States' Sales Tax

EBay automatically collects and submits state sales tax for certain other states.  EBay adds the tax to your purchase total and EBay submits the tax to your state without any input or say-so from me.  I have no control or ability to alter this in your invoice total.  You'll need to research EBay for the current list of "taxing" states if this is going to affect whether or not you purchase from me.

Local pickup
is encouraged, I'm located in St Petersburg, Florida, about 15 minutes off I-275.
Shipping:
I am generally specific about the USPS service and cost. If you need or expect something else you'll need to let me know before the auction ends.
Combined shipping discounts:
I'm happy to offer combined shipping discounts when I can.  If one or more item is heavy and the quoted rate is for a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box, I can't guarantee that there will be a savings by combining shipping.  If this might be an issue, inquire before bidding.
Returns & guarantees:
Assuming the item is properly described, than all items are sold as-is, with no guarantees, no satisfaction-guaranteed-or-your-money-back, and no-returns-accepted, except as follows.  If the above item description indicates that the item is "new" and/or guaranteed to work, then you will have 14 days after I've mailed the item to evaluate it and contact me if it doesn't work for return authorization.  If the description does not specifically say that the item is guaranteed, then it's not.  If the item is not properly described, for instance it has a significant undescribed/overlooked flaw, then I would consider that covered by my return/guarantee policy.  If the item is specifically sold "as-is" and I indicate that I'm not familiar with the item or unable to test it, then you need to consider that it might be complete junk, unusable, and unreturnable, and bid accordingly.  If the item is authorized for return you'll have a week, unless otherwise arranged, to get it back into the mail to return to me if you want a refund.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
None.  If we come to some kind of arrangement for international shipping, your item might be subject import fees when it enters your country. I have no control over this, you will need to research your country's regulations if this might be an issue.
