Well, it's definitely the most beautiful shade I'VE ever seen! It's stunning, hand made, and painted on the inside of the glass. Everything about it is exceptional. It has raised flower shapes all over, but they're not repetitive and simplified like many antique shades. They're varied all around and the have shape of real flowers, leaves and buds. But of course it's the painting that puts this one in a different class. It has incredibly skillful and colorful painting over at least 3/4 of the surface, with so many different shades it's clear the artist was mixing new ones while they worked. I hunted for a signature but didn't find one.
This measures 14" diameter at the widest point and 8" high. The opening is 10" in diameter. Condition is very good with no paint loss, cracks or chips, just a tiny bit of wear on the outside at the tip.
