    Description

    Reproduction Holster made by Stewart Historic Saddlery of Ash Fork, AZ. Made with Herman Oak leather , hand cut and fitted . Hand stitched with linen thread , Iron dyed black . Oiled and soaped ready to use .
    This holster design allow's the body to stay open . The main seam is butt-stitched (joined end to end, see photo) together , then overlaps at the top for strength , complete with a toe-plug at the muzzle . A sewing machine is unable to do these functions , and must be made and sewn by hand . In all a clever design .
    The original 1892 Colt is not part of this transaction and is only seen here as a prop .
