Description
Found packed in a box, wrapped in newspapers from 1957, in the far reaches of an attic in a home built in 1870.This lampshade is a blush color, satin glass, adorned with delicate rosebuds, hand painted in muted shades of rose with accents of green and bronze.
Tam 'O Shanter shape, the lampshade is of the following dimensions:
Base- 10" outside diameter. (will fit a 10" shade holder)
Width at broadest part- 11 1/2 " diameter
Height - 6 1/2" (the photo of the shade in natural light best displays its low broad shape)
Width at narrows - 4"
It is in beautiful condition, no cracks, breaks, repairs. There are a few very small places on base that have flaked or minor chipping in the process of placing and removing the shade from its holder over the years (please note in photo).
I have tried to capture the true color of this shade in daylight as well as when lit.
Thanks for your interest.
