  • Condition: The tape covering the ends of the wires is loose. Two of the grapes are broken off at the narrow spot above the bottom of the fruit.One of the leaves is broken off near its stem and another is partially missing.

    Description

    This is a vintage piece of a hand blown bunch of grapes or similar fruit mounted on a branch.    They are slightly abstract in construction.  There are10 complete pieces and two more "grapes" that are broken off.  There are two leaves.  The longest is complete and a smaller leaf is broken off partially.  There are air bubbles in some of the grapes and in the large leaf.  There are no cracks or chips in any of the complete grapes.  The tape used for covering the wires that are all gathered together at the stem end is loose, but it could be easily recovered.
    There is no manufacturer or artist information on the item, but the piece belonged to an very elderly glass collector.   It is most likely Murano hand blown glass from the 1950's-60's.
