Singer Sewing Machine

I know very little about
antique sewing machines
and this is based on the
little research I just done.
The motor works very well.
I turned the wheel and the
machine turns smoothly
and parts begin to move.
I don't know what makes
the sewing machine turn
once the motor runs,
I do not know if it is complete.
There are 2 plates.
One with the serial no. G6214521.
With a little research on the
serial number, it told me
that it is from 1918.
The other plate has a
number 1688.
The base is cast iron
and on both side ends
it says Saltzman.
There is a metal Saltzman
tag on the wood table as well.
I think that Saltzman made
work tables for Singer
at one time.
Table is 47" wide by 22" deep.
29.5" to top of table.
Iron base is 30" wide by 19.5" deep
and 27.5" high.
The Saltzman base it self
must be very rare cause I
can't get any info on it.
