    Description

    WWII M. E. Co. 1941 LONG British Canteen w/ Strap, Wool Cover Corked Top.  Beautiful canteen in great condition.  Cork top is still there but due to age and use it doesn't seal perfectly.  Some rust on metal top and inside of top.  The wool cover is in great condition and you can see the hand stitching.  The strap does have some staining.  Slight frays on strap but for a 1941 canteen it's in excellent shape. I am not sure if the cork top string is original or not. Please see attached pictures for condition.
